Founded in Istanbul in 1887 by Mr H. W. Stock, a British Patent Attorney, our firm provides services in the field of intellectual and industrial property.

In the early years, Mr Stock was a partner with Mr Mountain. At the beginning of the 20th century, after the death of Mr Stock, Mr Edward Gout became a partner and managed the firm. The company was registered at the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce in 1937. In the 1940s, Mr Gout transferred the company to Mr Douglas Whittall and his brother Mr Victor Whittall and Mr Haydar Dündar. The name of the company was changed to H.W. Stock, Douglas G. Whittall and Co. However, the Whittalls’ involvement in the company was short-lived. Soon after, Haydar Dündar took over from the Whittalls and became the sole owner of the company. He ran the company with his four children. Today, the company is managed by Mr Haydar Dündar’s son Kazım Dündar and Mr Haydar’s grandchildren Evin Dündar Kazmirci, Ömer Dündar and Revan Dündar.
